“I started Indah Designs roughly three years ago. I have been a flight attendant for eight years and with an abundance of travelling comes a lot of alone time; and this is how my homewares business was born. I wanted to channel my spare time into a hobby that I was truly in love with. Even as a young girl, instead of buying “Cosmo” or “Dolly” I was buying “House and Garden” and I soaked up every single page.”
"I started off my career craft-producing leather belts and bags for “The House of Merivale and Mr. John”, a popular clothing store for celebrities in the mid 80’s. Thereafter, I was known as 'Patrice Leathers', where I began adding a touch of crystal to my leather designs.”
Caitlyn never started her journey thinking that she would be a fashion designer. She says that she "always loved sewing and designing but for years, followed various paths”. Now, Caitlyn is the successful founder of Studio C Bridal; a gown and trousseau boutique tailoring to any request.
